Who is Dino Reyes-Chua?

Dino Carlo Reyes Chua was born in Cavite on September 28, 1980. He is the eldest son of Danilo Chua and Corazon Reyes both native of Cavite Province. His Father is a Businessman and Philantropist while his Mother is a School Directress. His younger brother Davey Reyes-Chua is the  Vice-Mayor of Noveleta, Cavite. His youngest brother, Denver Reyes-Chua is also the Vice-Mayor of Cavite City.

Their family has diversified business interests in Petroleum, Real Estate, Hotels & Resorts, Airline Business, Manufacturing, Broadcasting, Schools, Construction and Food Business. He traces his political bloodline to his Great Grand Father, Congressman Augusto Reyes Sr., who served as Representative of Cavite Province in 1925 Congress. In the town of Novelea, the Reyes Clan also served as Mayors of Noveleta, Cavite including Mayor Librado Reyes Sr. and Mayor Jose "Pepe" Reyes.

A Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at De La Salle University- CSB in Taft Avenue, Manila. He finished his highschool studies at San Sebastian College Recoletos de Cavite. He also graduated his Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) at International Academy of Management & Economics in Makati City.  He also earned units of Bachelor of Laws in San Beda College of Law. He finished his executive education at Stanford University in California, USA.

He first entered public service when he was elected as the topnotcher (No.1) City Councilor of Cavite City in 2004. He also became the youngest Vice-Mayor of Cavite City at the age of 23. In 2010, Dino was elected as the Topnotcher (No.1) Provincial Board Member of Cavite Province garnering the highest percentage of votes not only in his district but in the whole Province of Cavite. He often assumed the position of Acting Vice-Governor and Presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan whenever the Governor or the Vice-Governor is on leave.

Also a young businessman, he founded the Cavite Broadcasting Network that launched the first FM Radio Station in Cavite, the 99.9 Bomb FM in 2001 when he was only 21 years old. This FM Radio station soon expanded to Metro Manila when he launched Metro Manila's First All Hiphop Radio Station- BLAZIN 105.9 FM last 2004.

Today, Dino focused his business ventures in tourism and hospitality. He is the President of Greenbelt Hotels International which owns and operates One Greenbelt Hotel located along Arnaiz Avenue, Ayala Center, Makati City (Near Greenbelt Mall). In 2015, he forged a strategic partnership with Astoria Hotels & Resorts, a world class hotel chain which owns Astoria Plaza Ortigas, Astoria Boracay, Astoria Palawan and Astoria Bohol to Re-Brand the hotel property as Astoria Greenbelt Hotel. He is also the owner of El Palacio Hotel and Resort in Coastal Bay, Noveleta, Cavite. 

He is also the President and CEO of SkyJet Airlines, Manila's First Boutique Airline which recently launched the fastest and the largest jet to Batanes, Coron, Palawan, Boracay and Balesin Island. His latest venture now is into building and developing community malls as he believes that shopping is also part of every tourist's itinirary. Dino is the developer of Bacoor Town Center Mall and he is also the brain behind the newly constructed Regada Center Mall in Cavite City.

In 2004, Dino was nominated as The Outstanding Young Men Awards (TOYM Awards) and was awarded as "Young Leader of the Year" in 2007. He was also awarded by Quality Brand Philippines as 2015 Top Brand of the Year for Public Service. He also won as “Tanglaw ng Inspirsyon” Awards, also in 2015. He is the founder of Manny Pacquiao's Party-List, Partido ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA Party-List) which won a seat in 15th Congress. 

In October, 2015 he filed his certificate of candidacy for Mayor of Noveleta, Cavite and he is the official; candidate for Mayor under the banner of UNA-Partido Magdalo Coalition as endorsed by Cavite incumbent Governor Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla. He is one of the Founding Members of United Nationalists Alliance (UNA) founded by Presidential Candidate and incumbent Vice-President Jejomar Binay.

In May 9, 2016, he was proclaimed as the newly elected Mayor of Noveleta, Cavite with a record breaking margin of almost 10,000 votes over his rival. It is the highest margin ever recorded in the history of Noveleta elections.
